How to Wear the OA Hinged Knee Brace
Positioning
- For valgus correction (knees turning inward), place hinge on inside of the affected leg.
- For varus correction (bow-legged alignment), place hinge on outside of the affected leg.
Wear Instructions
- Fully unfasten all straps.
- Align the hinge center with the center of your knee joint.
- Secure straps in numerical order for even compression.
- Adjust valgus/varus correction using the included Allen wrench.
ROM Settings
- Loosen hinge screws with the provided tool.
- Insert flexion stop at the back and extension stop at the front.
- Re-tighten screws and ensure both hinges match.
Range-of-motion adjustments should be performed by a licensed healthcare provider.
